In death, Zoraal Ja bequeathed the king's authority to the child he had never acknowledged in life. After considerable thought, Gulool Ja accepted this heavy crown, and resolved to care for the people his father had forsaken.
Under the tutelage of Shale, one of Oblivion's adapters, Gulool Ja continued his studies of electrope, and his talents proved invaluable during the Warrior of Light's battle against Calyx. However, the young monarch felt responsible for the scientist's seizure and abuse of the king's authority. He vowed to grow strong, taking up the blade and steeling himself for the rigorous training he would undertake in Tuliyollal. Yet Gulool Ja would not blindly follow in his father's footsteps, but rather choose his own path. Even now he looks to those who changed his life for guidance, Otis and the Warrior of Light but two of many."

184,Queen of Reason of Alexandria
185,"Born some four centuries ago in the Ninth, Sphene was a princess of the Kingdom of Alexandria, one of the major powers on the Mist Continent. Her parents, the king and queen, perished during the star-spanning conflict known as the Storm Surge, and as their sole heir, she was forced to ascend the throne at a tender age. And though she succeeded in protecting her nation from annihilation, her body was ravaged by the lightning that had come to pervade the world, causing her to suffer from ever-intensifying paralysis until she eventually fell into a coma. With the approval of the kingdom's leadership, the monarch was placed in cold stasis by the scientists of Preservation, and with the advent of new technology, she was brought back decades later in the form of an Endless.
This Sphene ruled Alexandria as an eternal queen, and during her reign oversaw the creation of Living Memory, the sanctuary for Endless. Yet while these simulacra may live forever, sustaining them requires life force. Sphene grew desperate when it became apparent that not enough could be harvested within the kingdom, but even that sense of despair was of Calyx's design; he had forced upon her the impossible task of maintaining Living Memory, exploiting her fervent desire to protect her beloved people, that she might activate the key to interdimensional fusion. And being powerless to either seek or accept help, she ultimately resorted to invoking the relic before erasing her memories and arising as a ruthless weapon. This fearsome entity clashed with Wuk Lamat and the Warrior of Light, whom Sphene had come to regard as friends, and in the brief moment she was restored to herself in defeat, she entrusted them with her hopes and dreams. The Warrior of Light took charge of the key, while Wuk Lamat solemnly swore to look after the people of Alexandria.
With the Endless Sphene no more, the Meso Terminal ceased to function, prompting the original Queen Sphene to awaken from stasis. While overwhelmed by how much her kingdom had changed, the time she spent in the heroes' company reassured her that Alexandrians were the same resilient people they had always been. Yet all was not well, for Calyx, who continued his machinations as an Endless, had created the simulant─an impostor of the Queen of Reason─and appeared to challenge the heroes. His ultimate goal was the evolution of mankind into Endless, the realization of which demanded the sacrifice of countless lives.
Sphene was determined not to let this fate come to pass. She joined forces with the Warrior of Light, and together did they defeat Necron, the dread primal summoned forth by Calyx. Soon thereafter, Sphene was welcomed by the people of Alexandria as their new Queen of Reason, and with the young Gulool Ja wielding the King of Resolve's authority at her side, she labors once more for the future of her nation."

189,"An officer of the Ist Imperial Legion, Jullus's hardworking nature had earned him the esteem of his superiors, and he was regarded as the most promising among his peers.
When Anima was summoned as the Ist and IIIrd Legions clashed following Emperor Varis's death, Jullus chanced to be reporting to the wounded Quintus van Cinna and so escaped the eikon's corrupting influence. His parents and younger siblings, however, did not share his fortune; they were tempered a mere day before they were due to flee the city, and Jullus was forced to kill them in self-defense.
After that tragedy, Jullus abided in grief and hunger in the bitter cold. Yet a glimmer of hope remained, for Quintus had dispatched a messenger to the Xth. By marshaling the might of the legions garrisoned in the provinces, the legatus aimed to take back the imperial palace, which had been transformed into the monstrous Tower of Babil, Anima's lair. Thence they would work to rebuild their broken Empire─or so he envisioned.
The help that arrived was instead the Ilsabard contingent, a company formed of Garlemald's enemies. Their presence aroused fear and suspicion in the surviving citizens, and many vowed to never give up the fight. Yet even as the Ist maintained its defiant stance, the ice began to thaw between Jullus and the Leveilleur twins, who sought to establish dialogue at risk of their own lives. On a mission to scavenge ceruleum in the city's ruins, Jullus painted for them pictures of the imperial capital in better days─of the laughter and song that filled the streets, and the grass that flourished during the short, sweet summers.
Such heartfelt moments did not continue, for Quintus decided to ransom Alphinaud and Alisaie in exchange for the contingent's supplies and withdrawal. Jullus steeled himself as he arrived at Camp Broken Glass to deliver the demands, with the instruction to eliminate the invaders no matter the cost should negotiations fail. And fail they did. Ere blood could be spilled, however, Commander Lucia Junius revealed to Jullus that the Xth had petitioned the aid of the Grand Company of Eorzea. Communication between the legions had broken down, and the Xth itself had suffered a mass desertion of its provincial troops, severely diminishing its capacity for war. In that instant, all hopes for the Ist were crushed.
Later at the contingent's encampment, Jullus found himself among men whom he once might have faced in battle. One offered him a mug of hot soup, along with earnest words of empathy─little things that helped him to move forward.
Afterwards, Jullus himself would fall victim to tempering, but he was thankfully cured and fought alongside comrades both old and new against the threat of the Final Days. While that danger has since passed, much of Garlemald has fallen into ruin, and the path to recovery will be long and arduous. Even so, many Garleans chose to remain in their homeland, and beginning with the establishment of a trade agreement with Radz-at-Han, they took their first steps towards a brighter future. Working tirelessly as always, Jullus has become a central figure in this community─a role he naturally fell into perhaps due to the rapport he formed with Alphinaud and Alisaie, along with the caring instincts he honed as an elder brother.
Of late, Jullus has struck up a friendship with an inhabitant of another reflection. Wherever she may be, he cannot help but worry for her well-being."

193,"A rabbit-like people inhabiting the moon, the Loporrits are said to have been created by Hydaelyn Herself for the purpose of preparing for mankind's flight during the Final Days. Livingway is the individual responsible for directing the Loporrits' millennia-long efforts, and the self-proclaimed “right paw” of Hydaelyn.
Loporrit history is inextricably tied to the satellite upon which they reside. In the ancients' bid to avert the catastrophe of the Final Days, they summoned Zodiark, the first primal, to rewrite the star's laws and strengthen its weakened celestial currents. Venat and her followers had a different vision for the future, yet even they understood that Etheirys would not survive were Zodiark to be destroyed. Thus did they seek to seal Him away, beyond mankinds reach, bringing into being the entity Hydaelyn, who in turn created the moon to be His prison.
The watcher, the overseer of Zodiark's imprisonment, spoke of Hydaelyn not as an omnipotent being, but as one ever forced to consider desperate measures to avert calamity. As such, She had fashioned the moon with another purpose in mind: should Zodiark cease to exist, the satellite would also serve as an ark to bear the people of Etheirys to the safety of a distant star.
Despite Her precautionary measures, however, there was at first naught on the moon save Zodiark Himself. It fell to the Loporrits, whose creation coincided with that of the celestial vessel, to toil for untold centuries in preparation for a journey that would hopefully never come to pass. Building upon the research of Venat's faction into the world's hidden workings, they began the manufacture of the hyperhopper and other such mechanisms required for cosmic navigation. Even more challenging were the arrangements for bringing people to the moon itself. Producing a breathable atmosphere for the star's refugees was but the first of many tasks ahead.
The Loporrits established environmental foundations, then entered dormancy until said elements stabilized, a cycle they would repeat over and over until the moon became a habitable vessel. They also received knowledge of the present age from collaborators on the star's surface─members of Sharlayan's Forum who had heard Hydaelyn's voice. Their compendium on Etheirys's people, complete with blank pages for updates, remains one of Livingway's most treasured possessions.
When Zodiark was at last returned to aether, the moon's role was shifted wholly from prison to transportation. As matters would have it, however, the Scions' preliminary visit exposed several glaring problems with the Loporrits' preparations. Having been tailored to the ancients' towering statures, the amenities were far too large, and the clothing, foodstuffs, and dwellings upon which they had worked so hard received unexpectedly lukewarm appraisals. So it was that a trembling Livingway and her compatriots turned to Urianger as a potential co-conspirator, requesting that he carry word of a perfect lunar paradise to those below. Untrue or not, the people of Etheirys had to be convinced to evacuate the star posthaste, lest the Final Days claim countless lives.
For all else aside, the Loporrits harbored a profound love for mankind. While Hydaelyn had indeed imbued them with a great fondness for the creatures of Etheirys, they had also spent countless years gazing up at that blue orb, working eagerly towards the day they would finally welcome its inhabitants in person.
In the end, the moon never fulfilled its purpose as a starship. Etheirys's people chose to resist the coming of the Final Days, and it was the *Ragnarok* which became home to the satellite's hyperhopper and other technological marvels.
Now that the existential threat is no more, Livingway and her fellows must search for new meaning to their lives—but the joy they find in helping people remains unchanged. Livingway is tireless in her own personal quest, dreaming of the day she is lauded as mankind's staunchest ally, and the greatest Loporrit to ever live!"
