He confesses that this is the ninth time an Ishgardian craftsman has been driven from the Churning Mists by the moogles' antics. Fearing that Ser Handeloup may come to regret the arrangement between Moghome and Ishgard, Mogkul asks you to accompany him to the Congregation so he might offer his sincerest apologies in person. Tarresson is impressed by your final product, and understands now why moogles have such affection for the nuts. He will remain behind in Ishgard to make more, based on your example, and bids you go to Bahrr Lehs near Zenith and await his arrival.
10 3 6 TEXT_BANMOG001_02320_SEQ_03 TEXT_BANMOG001_02320_SEQ_06 Mogkul apologizes to Ser Handeloup for the actions of his kin, but while the commander is willing to forgive and forget, he explains that Ishgard can spare no more stonemasons. As if on cue, an elderly male addressed only as Lord Tarresson enters the Congregation. Apparently, the nine stonemasons sent to Moghome were his own pupils, and for the honor of his house and his profession he says he will bear the burden of helping the moogles. He worries that his aged body and mind cannot attempt the task alone, however, and persuades you to lend him your aid. Heartened by your agreement, Tarresson immediately instructs Mogkul to gather the moogles involved in Zenith's repair. After Mogkul departs, Tarresson claims he plans to show the moogles some trickery of his own, and bids you follow him to the Jeweled Crozier. Bahrr Lehs is little more than dust and rubble, and you arrive to see Tarresson and Mogkul looking over the dismal scene. The Mogmenders are nowhere in sight. Unperturbed by this setback, Tarresson asks Mogkul who among them is most prone to trickery. The moogle reveals that one Mogzin, leader of the Mogmenders, is often the butt of his brethren's jokes. Tarresson, eager to proceed, assures Mogkul that the Mogmenders will be hard at work before long. It seems that Tarresson's plan is soon to come to fruition, and he asks for your assistance in locating Mogzin, who should be somewhere in the nearby palace ruins.
11 4 7 TEXT_BANMOG001_02320_SEQ_04 TEXT_BANMOG001_02320_SEQ_07 You find Tarresson in the bustling marketplace, a mischievous look on his face. He questions you about the eating habits of the moogles, and once you mention kupo nuts you can see the gears turning in his head. He asks you to make a fake kupo nut, as you are the most familiar with their shape. Use the materials he has given you to make the most appetizing kupo nut you can muster. ※In the event you lose the ingredients or the synthesis ends in failure, you may try again by speaking with Mathye. After a thorough search, you and Tarresson come upon a moogle, who is muttering aloud. Surprised by your sudden appearance, the moogle hastily explains that a rare sickness that occurs once in a millennium has washed over Moghome, causing all the moogles' wings to feel as heavy as stones. Tarresson makes a show of sympathy, lamenting the fact that he cannot share his bounty of kupo nuts with the moogles. Mogzin perks up at the mention of the delicacy, and quickly changes his story. It would seem that Mogzin mistook napping moogles for sick ones. Satisfied by this attempt to explain away his lie, Mogzin departs to gather the rest of the Mogmenders, and states they will meet you at Bahrr Lehs.

Tarresson has asked the moogles at Asah for help, but suspects they are withholding aid on purpose, and he tasks Mogzin with bamboozling his kin into fulfilling their obligations. Although Mogzin has never managed to trick another moogle, he is heartened by Tarresson's rousing speech, and is eager to set forth to Asah at once and speak with Mogupp, leader of the moogles there. In an effort to lift Mogzin's spirits you remind him of Tarresson's wise words. Your speech serves its purpose, and Mogzin is struck with inspiration. He then departs for Moghome to seek the help of the alchemist Moghan."

Although Mogzin has never managed to trick another moogle, he is heartened by Tarresson's rousing speech, and is eager to set forth to Asah at once and speak with Mogupp, leader of the moogles there. Tarresson asks you to accompany Mogzin, in case his will flags or his pom droops. It seems Mogzin requires a certain medicine from Moghome's apothecary, but he is hesitant to part with it until Mogzin hands him a sack full of kupo nuts. After the two moogles confer in whispers for a brief moment, Moghan hands over the medicine, ostensibly in an effort to provide the Mogmenders with proper emergency provisions. Mogzin seems satisfied by this arrangement, and says he will meet you at Asah after he completes some final preparations.
10 3 6 TEXT_BANMOG002_02321_SEQ_03 TEXT_BANMOG002_02321_SEQ_06 Mogupp claims to have already dispatched the moogles, albeit possibly to the wrong location. He puts on an overly dramatic show of concern before asking you to help find his lost subordinates. Mogzin seemingly goes along with this transparent farce, but something tells you there is more to his kindly smile than meets the eye. The moogle instructs you to meet him at the base of the tower so you might discuss your rescue plan. Mogupp is fresh-faced and energetic, although he claims to have looked everywhere for his lost moogles. Mogzin declares that he has been tricked, putting on a show of humility that would make Tarresson proud. The haughty Mogupp gladly accepts Mogzin's gift of kupo nut milk and rushes off to celebrate victory with his companions. With the final step of his trick close at hand, Mogzin follows close behind, and bids you accompany him.

Emboldened by this stroke of luck, he sets to work outlining his own scheme, but his enthusiasm wanes when he is unable to come up with something immediately. In an effort to lift Mogzin's spirits you remind him of Tarresson's wise words. Your speech serves its purpose, and Mogzin is struck with inspiration. He then departs for Moghome to seek the help of the alchemist Moghan. From a cliff overlooking the Landlord Colony, you and Mogzin spy Mogupp and the others frolicking around the kupo nut milk. After a short victory speech, they raise their bottles in unison. Before they can celebrate further, however, they become befuddled, and shortly thereafter fall unconscious. It is then that Mogzin reveals the secret ingredient: crushed cloud mallow, which in large quantities has a hypnotic effect. Mogzin flits down to the dozing moogles and whispers words praising the value of labor and hard work, and soon after they perk up and march off towards Bahrr Lehs. Mogzin, eager to see the fruits of his labor, follows them to see what motivated moogles can accomplish.

He asks you and Mogzin to accompany him, and follows Ohl Deeh to the ancient dragon's location.
7 3 TEXT_BANMOG004_02323_SEQ_03 Gullinbursti is menacing at first, but after Tarresson explains the nature of the moogles' obligation, the dragon permits you a chance to prove your worth. Gullinbursti orders the fountain which once stood in the center of Bahrr Lehs to be rebuilt. Both Mogzin and Tarresson seem unperturbed by this seemingly impossible request, and return to Bahrr Lehs to discuss the best way of fulfilling it.
8 4 TEXT_BANMOG004_02323_SEQ_04 Neither Mogzin nor Ohl Deeh know of any way to transport water to the barren land, and Tarresson is unfamiliar with the region. Although the situation seems hopeless, you recall that the knights of Camp Cloudtop use spring crystals to keep their water supplies stocked. As luck would have it, Ohl Deeh comments that he has seen a crystal which he suspects might be the very type you seek. The young dragon and Mogzin depart for Weston Waters, and Tarresson asks you to follow them, that you might offer your opinion on the crystal's quality.
9 2 5 TEXT_BANMOG004_02323_SEQ_02 TEXT_BANMOG004_02323_SEQ_05 Your conversation is interrupted by a flustered Ohl Deeh, who explains that you have somehow earned the ire of an ancient dragon by the name of Gullinbursti. The dragon, through Ohl Deeh, has demanded that you cease your work on Bahrr Lehs and leave at once. Sensing that there may be some hope of reconciliation, Tarresson decides that the best course of action is to meet with Gullinbursti and explain the situation. He asks you and Mogzin to accompany him, and follows Ohl Deeh to the ancient dragon's location. While Weston Waters is indeed home to a spring crystal, this particular one is too weak to be used as a water source. Ohl Deeh does not look unsettled by this fact, however. Perhaps he has some knowledge that you do not.

Both Mogzin and Tarresson seem unperturbed by this seemingly impossible request, and return to Bahrr Lehs to discuss the best way of fulfilling it. According to Ohl Deeh, the roar of a dragon can strengthen the elemental aspect of a crystal. However, as it is still some years until Ohl Deeh's roar becomes powerful enough, he suggests asking his brother for help once again.

6 2 TEXT_BANMOG303_02300_SEQ_02 The lead stonemason is taken aback to learn the construction moogles had been receiving such an incongruous variety of rocks with each shipment. Deciding the best way to ensure the standardization of their product is to cut down the larger blocks to match the size of the smaller ones, he asks that you produce an item with which the masons will be able to do so. Synthesize stonemasonry supplies and see that they are delivered to the apprentice stonemasons. ※In the event you lose the materials or the synthesis ends in failure, you may try again by speaking with the masonry moogle.
7 3 TEXT_BANMOG303_02300_SEQ_03 The newest stonemasons gather around as you work and are impressed when you reveal your final product to them. Instilled with a renewed sense of motivation, they return to Asah to take another attempt at carving rocks.
8 4 TEXT_BANMOG303_02300_SEQ_04 The novice stonemasons present you with their latest attempt at producing a uniform set of stone blocks. Confident that they have improved, they ask that you deliver them to Mogek to receive his seal of approval.

10 3 6 TEXT_BANMOG404_02305_SEQ_03 TEXT_BANMOG404_02305_SEQ_06 The methodical moogle tells you that, while it is possible to build a new fountain in the same manner as the Lost Landlord, it requires an immaculate water filter to keep the water clean. For this he requires petrified birch logs from Ohl Tahn. You craft the component with ease and hand it over to his moogle assistant for safekeeping until construction begins. Head back to Bahrr Lehs and inform Mogek of another job well done.
11 4 7 TEXT_BANMOG404_02305_SEQ_04 TEXT_BANMOG404_02305_SEQ_07 You scour the harsh terrain of Ohl Tahn and gather three petrified birch logs. Take them to the methodical moogle to learn how he plans to use them in the fountain. You return to a warm welcome from Mogek. He is certain the fountain will last no less than three millennia thanks to your contributions.

8 4 TEXT_CHREND302_02362_SEQ_04 Your attempts to calm Archombadin's nerves serve only to further stoke his ire, and he turns to you, accusing Theomocent and Leigh of circulating rumors and letters to convict him of a crime he did not commit. Leigh and Theomocent review the documents, and observe they contain no actual evidence that Archombadin is responsible for the kidnapping. Seeing the two seminarians are as confused as he is, Archombadin begins to regain his composure. Not entirely convinced he arrogantly refuses your help in hunting down the true culprit─something Lebrassoir, on the other hand, is altogether too eager to receive. Imperiously ordering you to report back with any information you might find, he scuttles off in his friend's wake.
