0,"TEXT_BANPEL004_05196_SEQ_00","Something seems to be weighing heavily on Liplu's mind.
※The difficulty of this quest will be synced to your current level."
1,"TEXT_BANPEL004_05196_SEQ_01","Due to a shortage of guides familiar with upstream Kozama'uka, the Turali Travel Agency is struggling to make the most of its recent expansion into Earthenshire. When you posit that a certain bandit gang might make for potential recruits, Liplu balks at first, given that they kidnapped Vow Wuk Lamat herself. However, the Pelu then recalls that they not only turned themselves in, but were later released on parole. As they may be interested in making a fresh start, she requests your help in tracking them down, and suggests you begin by taking a trip to Many Fires and inquiring among the locals.
※Please note that the difficulty of this quest has been synced to your current level. Furthermore, you may not proceed with a class or job that is different from when you accepted this quest."
2,"TEXT_BANPEL004_05196_SEQ_02","After speaking with the townsfolk in Many Fires, you learn that Wawkesa and his crew were pardoned by Vow Wuk Lamat herself. Recent sightings suggest the Tonawawtan leader has been eking out a law-abiding existence in the wilds outside the settlement. Liplu will wish to hear what you have learned."
3,"TEXT_BANPEL004_05196_SEQ_03","Having heard your findings, Liplu is convinced there is merit in approaching Wawkesa with an offer of employment. You make for the Dewspun Bank, close to the former bandit's alleged hideout."
4,"TEXT_BANPEL004_05196_SEQ_04","In the wilds, you encounter a downtrodden Wawkesa trudging back from a fruitless attempt at fishing. Mistaking Liplu's proposal as a ploy to drag him back into some past servitude, the terrified Tonawawta flees the scene. It would be prudent to regroup and discuss your next move with Liplu."
5,"TEXT_BANPEL004_05196_SEQ_05","Before running off, the erstwhile bandit spoke of mines from which he escaped and resolved never to return to. As this was clearly a traumatic experience, Liplu is keen not only to hear the full story, but to clear up the misunderstanding, and to that end she asks you to find Wawkesa and bring him back."
6,"TEXT_BANPEL004_05196_SEQ_06","You come across the Tonawawta gasping for breath in the lee of a rocky outcrop. Resigned to whatever fate lies in store for him, Wawkesa agrees to speak with Liplu. You prepare to reconvene with the pair in the Dewspun Bank."
7,"TEXT_BANPEL004_05196_SEQ_07","Convinced at last that Liplu's proposal was genuine, the Tonawawta shares the harrowing tale of his past. Having been forced to toil in Shaaloani mines as children for many years, Wawkesa and his comrades one day realized they would need to escape or die beneath the earth. Though they made good their escape, their foreman attempted to hunt them down, and it was only by fleeing to Kozama'uka and turning to crime that they managed to evade recapture. Hearing this, Liplu reassures Wawkesa that she does not wish to bind or send him back, and once again extends him and his crew an invitation to earn an honest living at the Turali Travel Agency. Though he is unsure how precisely they may be of service, he is willing to accept, and so all leave to discuss matters further at Dock Poga."
8,"TEXT_BANPEL004_05196_SEQ_08","Back at the agency, Liplu is quick to assuage Wawkesa's concerns about returning to public life. Emboldened, he and his comrades resolve to do their part and give back to the community, with Wawkesa taking charge of the brand-new eatery. When queues of hungry visitors inevitably clamor to sample the local cuisine, Liplu and company will yet again have need of their special advisor."

50,"TEXT_BANPEL004_05196_LIPLU_000_002","Don't worry, the agency's doing just fine. The Earthenshire tours have been a runaway success, and if bookings stay steady, we'll soon recoup all the recent outlays."
51,"TEXT_BANPEL004_05196_LIPLU_100_002","Well, that's actually the problem. The upper reaches of Kozama'uka are proving <Emphasis>too</Emphasis> popular─we're struggling to meet demand with our current number of tour guides."
52,"TEXT_BANPEL004_05196_LIPLU_000_003","I want to address the issue before the burden starts wearing the staff down... You aren't aware of anyone in need of work who knows the region like the back of their hand, are you?"
53,"TEXT_BANPEL004_05196_Q1_000_000","What will you say?"
54,"TEXT_BANPEL004_05196_A1_000_001","How about asking the Hanuhanu?"
55,"TEXT_BANPEL004_05196_A1_000_002","Sounds like a job for the Moblins."
56,"TEXT_BANPEL004_05196_A1_000_003","A certain bandit gang comes to mind..."
57,"TEXT_BANPEL004_05196_LIPLU_000_004","Hmmm. There are only a handful of Hanu who know the region around Earthenshire, and they're already on the payroll! Sorry to dismiss your suggestion, but do you have any other ideas?"
58,"TEXT_BANPEL004_05196_LIPLU_000_005","That would be ideal, but the Moblins have the potsworn to attend to... I'd be loath to ask any more of them. Do you have any other suggestions?"
59,"TEXT_BANPEL004_05196_LIPLU_000_006","You don't mean the bandits who kidnapped Dawnservant Wuk Lamat during the rite of succession!? I'm sure they know the area well, but..."
60,"TEXT_BANPEL004_05196_LIPLU_000_007","Ah, hold on... I do remember hearing about a group of miscreants who turned themselves in to the Landsguard not long after the ascension ceremony. Apparently, they were later released on parole."
61,"TEXT_BANPEL004_05196_LIPLU_000_008","I suppose if they're willing to atone for their crimes and genuinely wish to make a fresh start..."
62,"TEXT_BANPEL004_05196_LIPLU_000_009","My inner abacus is clacking away! It says we should speak with them, at the very least!"
63,"TEXT_BANPEL004_05196_LIPLU_100_009","Reduce the strain on our staff, have former bandits give back to the communities they wronged... Yes, yes─everyone stands to gain much from a potential arrangement!"
64,"TEXT_BANPEL004_05196_LIPLU_000_010","Would you be willing to help track down these bandits?"
65,"TEXT_BANPEL004_05196_LIPLU_000_011","I knew I could count on you! Let's head to Many Fires and see what we can glean from the locals!"
66,"TEXT_BANPEL004_05196_LIPLU_000_012","I'm looking for a group of recently pardoned bandits... Does that ring any bells?"
67,"TEXT_BANPEL004_05196_MOB05196A_000_013","Has Mobbie heard windtalk of bandits? I'm afraid not. These parts have been peaceful of late. Plenty of time to fish!"
68,"TEXT_BANPEL004_05196_MOB05196A_000_014","Although I did eyecatch a scrawny fisher in the woods not far from Deceiver's Mantel..."
69,"TEXT_BANPEL004_05196_MOB05196A_000_015","A Tonawawta with crazyhair as bright as jinglyshine! I wonder who he was..."
70,"TEXT_BANPEL004_05196_MOB05196B_000_016","Ah, you seek news of the bandits let out on parole? Sneakytakers, the lot of them!"
71,"TEXT_BANPEL004_05196_MOB05196B_000_017","They spread many badfeels in the village with their crimes. Cheese was not for them!"
72,"TEXT_BANPEL004_05196_MOB05196B_000_018","Apparently, they were eyecatched not so long ago. Mobbie dreads to think about the inevitable recidivism..."
73,"TEXT_BANPEL004_05196_MOB05196B_000_019","I hope they've had time to reflect on the wrongness of dirtytaking and are ready to make an honest living!"
74,"TEXT_BANPEL004_05196_PELUPELUPEDDLER05196_000_020","My goodness, it's you! You came here with Dawnservant Koana seeking information about the bandit that waylaid me. Is there anything I can help you with this time?"
75,"TEXT_BANPEL004_05196_PELUPELUPEDDLER05196_000_021","Ah, you wish to know what happened to Wawkesa and his band of brigands after all that? Well, I gather they surrendered to the Landsguard."
76,"TEXT_BANPEL004_05196_PELUPELUPEDDLER05196_000_022","They even confessed the whereabouts of their stolen goods, that everything might be returned to their rightful owners. Sure enough, my merchandise made its way back to me."
77,"TEXT_BANPEL004_05196_PELUPELUPEDDLER05196_000_023","Apparently, some of their victims were so moved by the gesture that they petitioned the Landsguard for a more lenient sentence. Perhaps that's why Vow Wuk Lamat granted them parole."
78,"TEXT_BANPEL004_05196_PELUPELUPEDDLER05196_000_024","I don't know how they've fared thence, but I've heard nothing to suggest they've been causing trouble."
79,"TEXT_BANPEL004_05196_PELUPELUPEDDLER05196_000_025","Anyhow, you'll have to excuse me. I must meet with a client in Urqopacha. I do hope we meet again someday!"
80,"TEXT_BANPEL004_05196_LIPLU_000_030","Any news of our bandits?"
81,"TEXT_BANPEL004_05196_LIPLU_000_031","Hmmm. So they turned themselves in, returned the stolen goods, and are now living in the wilds after being pardoned. What's more, it seems they haven't fallen back into old habits..."
82,"TEXT_BANPEL004_05196_LIPLU_000_032","Let's make for the woods to the south. That's where the angler spotted Wawkesa, right? Hopefully we'll run into him there!"
83,"TEXT_BANPEL004_05196_LIPLU_000_033","I must admit, I regret being so bold... But then again, what do I have to fear with you by my side!"
84,"TEXT_BANPEL004_05196_WAWKESA_000_034","Starting to think I'm not cut out for fishing...and a man can't live off scrounging berries forever. What to do..."
85,"TEXT_BANPEL004_05196_WAWKESA_000_035","Aaagh! Y-You're that salted devil of a sellsword!"
86,"TEXT_BANPEL004_05196_WAWKESA_000_036","L-Listen, I turned myself in─even gave back what I stole! Put that life behind me for good. What more could you possibly want from me!?"
87,"TEXT_BANPEL004_05196_Q2_000_004","What will you say?"
88,"TEXT_BANPEL004_05196_A2_000_001","I have a proposition for you."
89,"TEXT_BANPEL004_05196_A2_000_002","I came to <Emphasis>personally</Emphasis> ensure you got what you deserve."
90,"TEXT_BANPEL004_05196_A2_000_003","Oh, <Emphasis>I</Emphasis> don't want anything from you..."
91,"TEXT_BANPEL004_05196_WAWKESA_000_037","And why should I trust you!? You're here to get revenge for the kidnapping, aren't you!?"
92,"TEXT_BANPEL004_05196_LIPLU_000_038","I assure you, as my associate says, we really do have a proposition for you. I'm Liplu. It's a pleasure to meet you."
93,"TEXT_BANPEL004_05196_WAWKESA_000_039","Y-You came to get revenge for the kidnapping!?"
94,"TEXT_BANPEL004_05196_LIPLU_000_040","Quite the opposite. We've come with a business proposal. My name's Liplu, by the way. It's a pleasure to meet you."
95,"TEXT_BANPEL004_05196_LIPLU_000_041","You're Wawkesa, yes? My name's Liplu, and I have an exciting business proposal for you!"
96,"TEXT_BANPEL004_05196_LIPLU_000_042","I'll get straight to the point. If you're serious about keeping to the strait and narrow, and making amends for your past crimes, perhaps you'd like to work with us...at the Turali Travel Agency!"
97,"TEXT_BANPEL004_05196_WAWKESA_000_043","Work for you!? Hah─I see your scheme! Plotting to haul me off to the mines under the guise of “employment,” aren't you!?"
98,"TEXT_BANPEL004_05196_WAWKESA_000_044","Curse you blackhearts! I ate dirt to survive after I escaped! I won't set foot inside another mine while there's still breath in my lungs!"
99,"TEXT_BANPEL004_05196_LIPLU_000_045","Wait!"
100,"TEXT_BANPEL004_05196_LIPLU_000_046","...That was unexpected. And all that talk of mines... He seemed genuinely traumatized."
101,"TEXT_BANPEL004_05196_LIPLU_000_047","<Split(<Highlight>ObjectParameter(1)</Highlight>, ,1)/>, I want to find out what happened to him. Hopefully, that way, we can clear up this misunderstanding and have a proper discussion."
102,"TEXT_BANPEL004_05196_LIPLU_000_048","I hate to ask, but could you find Wawkesa and bring him back here? He was awfully fast, but I doubt he could outrun you!"
103,"TEXT_BANPEL004_05196_LIPLU_000_049","If you could bring Wawkesa back, it would be much appreciated! I'm sure he's still nearby."
104,"TEXT_BANPEL004_05196_WAWKESA_000_050","<wheeze> I don't care how fast they are... <wheeze> They'll never find me here..."
105,"TEXT_BANPEL004_05196_WAWKESA_000_051","Whaaat!? How!?"
106,"TEXT_BANPEL004_05196_WAWKESA_000_052","Unbelievable. I ran full pelt, and yet... Ah, what's the use."
107,"TEXT_BANPEL004_05196_WAWKESA_000_053","Listen, I know what we did was inexcusable, but after it came to a head, we made an oath─an oath to never walk that path again. I won't bother another soul, I'll live out my days on the fringes... Please, just leave me be!"
108,"TEXT_BANPEL004_05196_WAWKESA_000_054","You're saying this is all a misunderstanding...? Well, it's clear there's no escaping you regardless. Fine, I'll hear her out...and put my fate in your hands."
109,"TEXT_BANPEL004_05196_WAWKESA_000_060","Don't worry, I'm not going anywhere. Your associate says she wants to talk, and I'm prepared to listen."
110,"TEXT_BANPEL004_05196_LIPLU_000_061","I apologize if we frightened you, Wawkesa. That wasn't our intention. Are you willing to tell us why you fled?"
111,"TEXT_BANPEL004_05196_WAWKESA_000_062","Before we get to that, I want you to be honest. Do you <Emphasis>really</Emphasis> have a proposition for me that doesn't involve dragging me back to those godsforsaken mines?"
112,"TEXT_BANPEL004_05196_WAWKESA_000_063","Hmph. In that case..."
113,"TEXT_BANPEL004_05196_WAWKESA_000_064","I'll be honest with <Emphasis>you</Emphasis>. Me and the rest of the gang first came here after fleeing Xak Tural."
114,"TEXT_BANPEL004_05196_WAWKESA_000_065","I'm sure I don't need to tell you, but Shaaloani's been a hotbed of development since they found blue gold beneath the plains."
115,"TEXT_BANPEL004_05196_WAWKESA_000_066","Among the folk that got their hands on a drilling permit, there were more than a few looking to get rich quick. The kind of despicable bastards who didn't think twice about sending kids into the tunnels. And we, well...we worked for the worst of the worst."
116,"TEXT_BANPEL004_05196_WAWKESA_000_067","Day after day, toiling and wasting away. Till we died or escaped, we eventually realized. So we smuggled ourselves out in empty ceruleum barrels."
117,"TEXT_BANPEL004_05196_WAWKESA_000_068","You can imagine what happened next. That vidraal of a foreman tried to hunt us down, so we fled to Kozama'uka and took to banditry, as much to conceal our identities as to make ends meet."
118,"TEXT_BANPEL004_05196_WAWKESA_000_069","Right or wrong be damned, we would survive. But...when we heard that Dawnservant Wuk Lamat spoke of our plight during the ascension ceremony, we decided to turn ourselves in."
119,"TEXT_BANPEL004_05196_WAWKESA_000_070","After a time, she showed us mercy and gave us a pardon. Even so...there's still that fear of what might happen if the foreman or his lackeys were to find us..."
120,"TEXT_BANPEL004_05196_LIPLU_000_071","Thank you for sharing your story, and telling me of the struggles you and your friends have experienced."
121,"TEXT_BANPEL004_05196_LIPLU_000_072","Let me assure you that I do not wish to bind you with contracts or chains. I offer only the opportunity for you and your comrades to provide for yourselves. To make an honest living on your own terms. So...how about it? How does working at the Turali Travel Agency sound? "
122,"TEXT_BANPEL004_05196_WAWKESA_000_073","Th-That's more than any of us dared hope for. But what if word gets back to the foreman? If someone shows up to haul us away, and we drag you into our affairs..."
123,"TEXT_BANPEL004_05196_LIPLU_000_074","I'll need to look into it to be sure, but I honestly don't think there's much chance of that happening. Thanks to the efforts of the Dustwatch and the Daybreakers, Shaaloani's no longer the lawless place it used to be."
124,"TEXT_BANPEL004_05196_LIPLU_000_075","Besides, I've been working on a plan to help reintegrate former outlaws into society. I'll be sounding out the Wing of Reflection to see if they can't support the initiative. I'm sure the new Dawnservants will give their blessing!"
125,"TEXT_BANPEL004_05196_WAWKESA_000_076","Incredible! But, you know, it feels like we should be begging you for the opportunity... We've burned so many bridges. I'll make damn sure you don't regret this!"
126,"TEXT_BANPEL004_05196_WAWKESA_000_077","That said, what exactly are we supposed to do for you? About all we're good for is manual labor and pathfinding. Though I do also know my way around a cookfire after feeding miners for all those years."
127,"TEXT_BANPEL004_05196_LIPLU_000_078","Hmmm...This wasn't part of the plan, per se, but I think your culinary skills might come in handy! A restaurant on-site could be a real earner!"
128,"TEXT_BANPEL004_05196_LIPLU_100_078","As for your comrades, we've been looking for individuals with an intimate knowledge of upstream Kozama'uka who are also capable of handling themselves! My plan was to employ them as guides-turned-protectors after a thorough assessment and proper training."
129,"TEXT_BANPEL004_05196_LIPLU_000_079","I'd say it's about time we got back and continued preparations. Wawkesa can meet us back at the agency in Dock Poga once he contacts his friends!"
130,"TEXT_BANPEL004_05196_WAWKESA_000_080","Real, honest work... Something tells we won't get another chance like this."
131,"TEXT_BANPEL004_05196_LIPLU_000_081","Welcome back, <Split(<Highlight>ObjectParameter(1)</Highlight>, ,1)/>! I reached out to the Wing of Reflection, and it was just as I thought. It seems Wawkesa's fears were unfounded."
132,"TEXT_BANPEL004_05196_LIPLU_100_081","The situation in the ceruleum fields has changed dramatically in the past few years. Groups like the Daybreakers have put an end to the practice of child labor, and the Dustwatch have all but stamped out the violent duels that used to be so common."
133,"TEXT_BANPEL004_05196_LIPLU_200_081","As for the company you and your comrades worked for, they have long since been shut down by the Daybreakers."
134,"TEXT_BANPEL004_05196_LIPLU_000_082","For its part, the Wing of Reflection is committed to the restoration and preservation of law and order in Shaaloani. Any new unscrupulous drilling operations are swiftly dealt with. You needn't worry about anyone coming after you!"
135,"TEXT_BANPEL004_05196_WAWKESA_000_083","Thank the heavens for that!"
136,"TEXT_BANPEL004_05196_WAWKESA_000_084","In that case, we can commit to doing our part and repaying our debts! We've decided to set aside some of our earnings and repay folk for all the hurt we caused, you see."
137,"TEXT_BANPEL004_05196_LIPLU_000_085","Wonderful! Simply wonderful! It's a pleasure to have you on board!"
138,"TEXT_BANPEL004_05196_SYSTEM_000_500","Thanks to the efforts of Liplu and her special advisor, Wawkesa and his comrades have agreed to join the Turali Travel Agency! With this influx of new recruits, the shortage of staff that had threatened to curtail expansion into Earthenshire has been resolved."
139,"TEXT_BANPEL004_05196_SYSTEM_000_501","While his former crewmates begin their training as guides, Wawkesa himself will be devising a menu of delicious local dishes as head chef of the agency's brand new eatery. Be sure to assist him and his crew of former brigands on their road to rehabilitation!"

4 0 TEXT_BANPEL004_05196_SEQ_00 Something seems to be weighing heavily on Liplu's mind. ※The difficulty of this quest will be synced to your current level.
5 1 TEXT_BANPEL004_05196_SEQ_01 Due to a shortage of guides familiar with upstream Kozama'uka, the Turali Travel Agency is struggling to make the most of its recent expansion into Earthenshire. Furthermore, you may not proceed with a class or job that is different from when you accepted this quest.
6 2 TEXT_BANPEL004_05196_SEQ_02 After speaking with the townsfolk in Many Fires, you learn that Wawkesa and his crew were pardoned by Vow Wuk Lamat herself. Recent sightings suggest the Tonawawtan leader has been eking out a law-abiding existence in the wilds outside the settlement. Liplu will wish to hear what you have learned.
7 3 TEXT_BANPEL004_05196_SEQ_03 Having heard your findings, Liplu is convinced there is merit in approaching Wawkesa with an offer of employment. You make for the Dewspun Bank, close to the former bandit's alleged hideout.
8 4 TEXT_BANPEL004_05196_SEQ_04 In the wilds, you encounter a downtrodden Wawkesa trudging back from a fruitless attempt at fishing. Mistaking Liplu's proposal as a ploy to drag him back into some past servitude, the terrified Tonawawta flees the scene. It would be prudent to regroup and discuss your next move with Liplu.
9 5 TEXT_BANPEL004_05196_SEQ_05 Before running off, the erstwhile bandit spoke of mines from which he escaped and resolved never to return to. As this was clearly a traumatic experience, Liplu is keen not only to hear the full story, but to clear up the misunderstanding, and to that end she asks you to find Wawkesa and bring him back.
10 6 TEXT_BANPEL004_05196_SEQ_06 You come across the Tonawawta gasping for breath in the lee of a rocky outcrop. Resigned to whatever fate lies in store for him, Wawkesa agrees to speak with Liplu. You prepare to reconvene with the pair in the Dewspun Bank.
11 7 TEXT_BANPEL004_05196_SEQ_07 Convinced at last that Liplu's proposal was genuine, the Tonawawta shares the harrowing tale of his past. Though he is unsure how precisely they may be of service, he is willing to accept, and so all leave to discuss matters further at Dock Poga.
12 8 TEXT_BANPEL004_05196_SEQ_08 Back at the agency, Liplu is quick to assuage Wawkesa's concerns about returning to public life. Emboldened, he and his comrades resolve to do their part and give back to the community, with Wawkesa taking charge of the brand-new eatery. When queues of hungry visitors inevitably clamor to sample the local cuisine, Liplu and company will yet again have need of their special advisor.

52 48 TEXT_BANPEL004_05196_LIPLU_000_000 What am I going to do... I can't seem to find anyone up to the task.
53 49 TEXT_BANPEL004_05196_LIPLU_000_001 Oh, <Split(<Highlight>ObjectParameter(1)</Highlight>, ,1)/>! You have the wonderful habit of appearing exactly when I need you! I've got a problem on my hands...
54 50 TEXT_BANPEL004_05196_LIPLU_000_002 Don't worry, the agency's doing just fine. The Earthenshire tours have been a runaway success, and if bookings stay steady, we'll soon recoup all the recent outlays.
55 51 TEXT_BANPEL004_05196_LIPLU_100_002 Well, that's actually the problem. The upper reaches of Kozama'uka are proving <Emphasis>too</Emphasis> popular─we're struggling to meet demand with our current number of tour guides.
56 52 TEXT_BANPEL004_05196_LIPLU_000_003 I want to address the issue before the burden starts wearing the staff down... You aren't aware of anyone in need of work who knows the region like the back of their hand, are you?
57 53 TEXT_BANPEL004_05196_Q1_000_000 What will you say?
58 54 TEXT_BANPEL004_05196_A1_000_001 How about asking the Hanuhanu?
59 55 TEXT_BANPEL004_05196_A1_000_002 Sounds like a job for the Moblins.
60 56 TEXT_BANPEL004_05196_A1_000_003 A certain bandit gang comes to mind...
61 57 TEXT_BANPEL004_05196_LIPLU_000_004 Hmmm. There are only a handful of Hanu who know the region around Earthenshire, and they're already on the payroll! Sorry to dismiss your suggestion, but do you have any other ideas?
62 58 TEXT_BANPEL004_05196_LIPLU_000_005 That would be ideal, but the Moblins have the potsworn to attend to... I'd be loath to ask any more of them. Do you have any other suggestions?
63 59 TEXT_BANPEL004_05196_LIPLU_000_006 You don't mean the bandits who kidnapped Dawnservant Wuk Lamat during the rite of succession!? I'm sure they know the area well, but...
64 60 TEXT_BANPEL004_05196_LIPLU_000_007 Ah, hold on... I do remember hearing about a group of miscreants who turned themselves in to the Landsguard not long after the ascension ceremony. Apparently, they were later released on parole.
65 61 TEXT_BANPEL004_05196_LIPLU_000_008 I suppose if they're willing to atone for their crimes and genuinely wish to make a fresh start...
66 62 TEXT_BANPEL004_05196_LIPLU_000_009 My inner abacus is clacking away! It says we should speak with them, at the very least!
67 63 TEXT_BANPEL004_05196_LIPLU_100_009 Reduce the strain on our staff, have former bandits give back to the communities they wronged... Yes, yes─everyone stands to gain much from a potential arrangement!
68 64 TEXT_BANPEL004_05196_LIPLU_000_010 Would you be willing to help track down these bandits?
69 65 TEXT_BANPEL004_05196_LIPLU_000_011 I knew I could count on you! Let's head to Many Fires and see what we can glean from the locals!
70 66 TEXT_BANPEL004_05196_LIPLU_000_012 I'm looking for a group of recently pardoned bandits... Does that ring any bells?
71 67 TEXT_BANPEL004_05196_MOB05196A_000_013 Has Mobbie heard windtalk of bandits? I'm afraid not. These parts have been peaceful of late. Plenty of time to fish!
72 68 TEXT_BANPEL004_05196_MOB05196A_000_014 Although I did eyecatch a scrawny fisher in the woods not far from Deceiver's Mantel...
73 69 TEXT_BANPEL004_05196_MOB05196A_000_015 A Tonawawta with crazyhair as bright as jinglyshine! I wonder who he was...
74 70 TEXT_BANPEL004_05196_MOB05196B_000_016 Ah, you seek news of the bandits let out on parole? Sneakytakers, the lot of them!
75 71 TEXT_BANPEL004_05196_MOB05196B_000_017 They spread many badfeels in the village with their crimes. Cheese was not for them!
76 72 TEXT_BANPEL004_05196_MOB05196B_000_018 Apparently, they were eyecatched not so long ago. Mobbie dreads to think about the inevitable recidivism...
77 73 TEXT_BANPEL004_05196_MOB05196B_000_019 I hope they've had time to reflect on the wrongness of dirtytaking and are ready to make an honest living!
78 74 TEXT_BANPEL004_05196_PELUPELUPEDDLER05196_000_020 My goodness, it's you! You came here with Dawnservant Koana seeking information about the bandit that waylaid me. Is there anything I can help you with this time?
79 75 TEXT_BANPEL004_05196_PELUPELUPEDDLER05196_000_021 Ah, you wish to know what happened to Wawkesa and his band of brigands after all that? Well, I gather they surrendered to the Landsguard.
80 76 TEXT_BANPEL004_05196_PELUPELUPEDDLER05196_000_022 They even confessed the whereabouts of their stolen goods, that everything might be returned to their rightful owners. Sure enough, my merchandise made its way back to me.
81 77 TEXT_BANPEL004_05196_PELUPELUPEDDLER05196_000_023 Apparently, some of their victims were so moved by the gesture that they petitioned the Landsguard for a more lenient sentence. Perhaps that's why Vow Wuk Lamat granted them parole.
82 78 TEXT_BANPEL004_05196_PELUPELUPEDDLER05196_000_024 I don't know how they've fared thence, but I've heard nothing to suggest they've been causing trouble.
83 79 TEXT_BANPEL004_05196_PELUPELUPEDDLER05196_000_025 Anyhow, you'll have to excuse me. I must meet with a client in Urqopacha. I do hope we meet again someday!
84 80 TEXT_BANPEL004_05196_LIPLU_000_030 Any news of our bandits?
85 81 TEXT_BANPEL004_05196_LIPLU_000_031 Hmmm. So they turned themselves in, returned the stolen goods, and are now living in the wilds after being pardoned. What's more, it seems they haven't fallen back into old habits...
86 82 TEXT_BANPEL004_05196_LIPLU_000_032 Let's make for the woods to the south. That's where the angler spotted Wawkesa, right? Hopefully we'll run into him there!
87 83 TEXT_BANPEL004_05196_LIPLU_000_033 I must admit, I regret being so bold... But then again, what do I have to fear with you by my side!
88 84 TEXT_BANPEL004_05196_WAWKESA_000_034 Starting to think I'm not cut out for fishing...and a man can't live off scrounging berries forever. What to do...
89 85 TEXT_BANPEL004_05196_WAWKESA_000_035 Aaagh! Y-You're that salted devil of a sellsword!
90 86 TEXT_BANPEL004_05196_WAWKESA_000_036 L-Listen, I turned myself in─even gave back what I stole! Put that life behind me for good. What more could you possibly want from me!?
91 87 TEXT_BANPEL004_05196_Q2_000_004 What will you say?
92 88 TEXT_BANPEL004_05196_A2_000_001 I have a proposition for you.
93 89 TEXT_BANPEL004_05196_A2_000_002 I came to <Emphasis>personally</Emphasis> ensure you got what you deserve.
94 90 TEXT_BANPEL004_05196_A2_000_003 Oh, <Emphasis>I</Emphasis> don't want anything from you...
95 91 TEXT_BANPEL004_05196_WAWKESA_000_037 And why should I trust you!? You're here to get revenge for the kidnapping, aren't you!?
96 92 TEXT_BANPEL004_05196_LIPLU_000_038 I assure you, as my associate says, we really do have a proposition for you. I'm Liplu. It's a pleasure to meet you.
97 93 TEXT_BANPEL004_05196_WAWKESA_000_039 Y-You came to get revenge for the kidnapping!?
98 94 TEXT_BANPEL004_05196_LIPLU_000_040 Quite the opposite. We've come with a business proposal. My name's Liplu, by the way. It's a pleasure to meet you.
99 95 TEXT_BANPEL004_05196_LIPLU_000_041 You're Wawkesa, yes? My name's Liplu, and I have an exciting business proposal for you!
100 96 TEXT_BANPEL004_05196_LIPLU_000_042 I'll get straight to the point. If you're serious about keeping to the strait and narrow, and making amends for your past crimes, perhaps you'd like to work with us...at the Turali Travel Agency!
101 97 TEXT_BANPEL004_05196_WAWKESA_000_043 Work for you!? Hah─I see your scheme! Plotting to haul me off to the mines under the guise of “employment,” aren't you!?
102 98 TEXT_BANPEL004_05196_WAWKESA_000_044 Curse you blackhearts! I ate dirt to survive after I escaped! I won't set foot inside another mine while there's still breath in my lungs!
103 99 TEXT_BANPEL004_05196_LIPLU_000_045 Wait!
104 100 TEXT_BANPEL004_05196_LIPLU_000_046 ...That was unexpected. And all that talk of mines... He seemed genuinely traumatized.
105 101 TEXT_BANPEL004_05196_LIPLU_000_047 <Split(<Highlight>ObjectParameter(1)</Highlight>, ,1)/>, I want to find out what happened to him. Hopefully, that way, we can clear up this misunderstanding and have a proper discussion.
106 102 TEXT_BANPEL004_05196_LIPLU_000_048 I hate to ask, but could you find Wawkesa and bring him back here? He was awfully fast, but I doubt he could outrun you!
107 103 TEXT_BANPEL004_05196_LIPLU_000_049 If you could bring Wawkesa back, it would be much appreciated! I'm sure he's still nearby.
108 104 TEXT_BANPEL004_05196_WAWKESA_000_050 <wheeze> I don't care how fast they are... <wheeze> They'll never find me here...
109 105 TEXT_BANPEL004_05196_WAWKESA_000_051 Whaaat!? How!?
110 106 TEXT_BANPEL004_05196_WAWKESA_000_052 Unbelievable. I ran full pelt, and yet... Ah, what's the use.
111 107 TEXT_BANPEL004_05196_WAWKESA_000_053 Listen, I know what we did was inexcusable, but after it came to a head, we made an oath─an oath to never walk that path again. I won't bother another soul, I'll live out my days on the fringes... Please, just leave me be!
112 108 TEXT_BANPEL004_05196_WAWKESA_000_054 You're saying this is all a misunderstanding...? Well, it's clear there's no escaping you regardless. Fine, I'll hear her out...and put my fate in your hands.
113 109 TEXT_BANPEL004_05196_WAWKESA_000_060 Don't worry, I'm not going anywhere. Your associate says she wants to talk, and I'm prepared to listen.
114 110 TEXT_BANPEL004_05196_LIPLU_000_061 I apologize if we frightened you, Wawkesa. That wasn't our intention. Are you willing to tell us why you fled?
115 111 TEXT_BANPEL004_05196_WAWKESA_000_062 Before we get to that, I want you to be honest. Do you <Emphasis>really</Emphasis> have a proposition for me that doesn't involve dragging me back to those godsforsaken mines?
116 112 TEXT_BANPEL004_05196_WAWKESA_000_063 Hmph. In that case...
117 113 TEXT_BANPEL004_05196_WAWKESA_000_064 I'll be honest with <Emphasis>you</Emphasis>. Me and the rest of the gang first came here after fleeing Xak Tural.
118 114 TEXT_BANPEL004_05196_WAWKESA_000_065 I'm sure I don't need to tell you, but Shaaloani's been a hotbed of development since they found blue gold beneath the plains.
119 115 TEXT_BANPEL004_05196_WAWKESA_000_066 Among the folk that got their hands on a drilling permit, there were more than a few looking to get rich quick. The kind of despicable bastards who didn't think twice about sending kids into the tunnels. And we, well...we worked for the worst of the worst.
120 116 TEXT_BANPEL004_05196_WAWKESA_000_067 Day after day, toiling and wasting away. Till we died or escaped, we eventually realized. So we smuggled ourselves out in empty ceruleum barrels.
121 117 TEXT_BANPEL004_05196_WAWKESA_000_068 You can imagine what happened next. That vidraal of a foreman tried to hunt us down, so we fled to Kozama'uka and took to banditry, as much to conceal our identities as to make ends meet.
122 118 TEXT_BANPEL004_05196_WAWKESA_000_069 Right or wrong be damned, we would survive. But...when we heard that Dawnservant Wuk Lamat spoke of our plight during the ascension ceremony, we decided to turn ourselves in.
123 119 TEXT_BANPEL004_05196_WAWKESA_000_070 After a time, she showed us mercy and gave us a pardon. Even so...there's still that fear of what might happen if the foreman or his lackeys were to find us...
124 120 TEXT_BANPEL004_05196_LIPLU_000_071 Thank you for sharing your story, and telling me of the struggles you and your friends have experienced.
125 121 TEXT_BANPEL004_05196_LIPLU_000_072 Let me assure you that I do not wish to bind you with contracts or chains. I offer only the opportunity for you and your comrades to provide for yourselves. To make an honest living on your own terms. So...how about it? How does working at the Turali Travel Agency sound?
126 122 TEXT_BANPEL004_05196_WAWKESA_000_073 Th-That's more than any of us dared hope for. But what if word gets back to the foreman? If someone shows up to haul us away, and we drag you into our affairs...
127 123 TEXT_BANPEL004_05196_LIPLU_000_074 I'll need to look into it to be sure, but I honestly don't think there's much chance of that happening. Thanks to the efforts of the Dustwatch and the Daybreakers, Shaaloani's no longer the lawless place it used to be.
128 124 TEXT_BANPEL004_05196_LIPLU_000_075 Besides, I've been working on a plan to help reintegrate former outlaws into society. I'll be sounding out the Wing of Reflection to see if they can't support the initiative. I'm sure the new Dawnservants will give their blessing!
129 125 TEXT_BANPEL004_05196_WAWKESA_000_076 Incredible! But, you know, it feels like we should be begging you for the opportunity... We've burned so many bridges. I'll make damn sure you don't regret this!
130 126 TEXT_BANPEL004_05196_WAWKESA_000_077 That said, what exactly are we supposed to do for you? About all we're good for is manual labor and pathfinding. Though I do also know my way around a cookfire after feeding miners for all those years.
131 127 TEXT_BANPEL004_05196_LIPLU_000_078 Hmmm...This wasn't part of the plan, per se, but I think your culinary skills might come in handy! A restaurant on-site could be a real earner!
132 128 TEXT_BANPEL004_05196_LIPLU_100_078 As for your comrades, we've been looking for individuals with an intimate knowledge of upstream Kozama'uka who are also capable of handling themselves! My plan was to employ them as guides-turned-protectors after a thorough assessment and proper training.
133 129 TEXT_BANPEL004_05196_LIPLU_000_079 I'd say it's about time we got back and continued preparations. Wawkesa can meet us back at the agency in Dock Poga once he contacts his friends!
134 130 TEXT_BANPEL004_05196_WAWKESA_000_080 Real, honest work... Something tells we won't get another chance like this.
135 131 TEXT_BANPEL004_05196_LIPLU_000_081 Welcome back, <Split(<Highlight>ObjectParameter(1)</Highlight>, ,1)/>! I reached out to the Wing of Reflection, and it was just as I thought. It seems Wawkesa's fears were unfounded.
136 132 TEXT_BANPEL004_05196_LIPLU_100_081 The situation in the ceruleum fields has changed dramatically in the past few years. Groups like the Daybreakers have put an end to the practice of child labor, and the Dustwatch have all but stamped out the violent duels that used to be so common.
137 133 TEXT_BANPEL004_05196_LIPLU_200_081 As for the company you and your comrades worked for, they have long since been shut down by the Daybreakers.
138 134 TEXT_BANPEL004_05196_LIPLU_000_082 For its part, the Wing of Reflection is committed to the restoration and preservation of law and order in Shaaloani. Any new unscrupulous drilling operations are swiftly dealt with. You needn't worry about anyone coming after you!
139 135 TEXT_BANPEL004_05196_WAWKESA_000_083 Thank the heavens for that!
