40TEXT_GAIUSC014_00951_SEQ_00Ser Briannaix is concerned for a comrade who has taken a tumble off of a snow-covered cliff.
51TEXT_GAIUSC014_00951_SEQ_01Ser Briannaix needs help rescuing a comrade who has fallen over a cliff. There is a length of thick rope to be found in the keep which would be perfect for the job.
62TEXT_GAIUSC014_00951_SEQ_02The rope is of goodly length, and reassuringly heavy in your hands. On the cliff top, another dragoon keeps watch as Ser Briannaix said. He will no doubt be glad to speak to you.
73TEXT_GAIUSC014_00951_SEQ_03Aside from being trapped at the base of a steep cliff, the dragoon seems to be in fine shape. All he needs is one end of the rope in his hands, and he can climb out. The question is how to do so, with the high winds snapping the rope up and away as soon as you drop it.
84TEXT_GAIUSC014_00951_SEQ_04What a soldier denies, an adventurer tries. Securing one end of the rope at the top of the cliff, you leap down with the other. The trapped dragoon is trapped no more, though he will feel the exertion tomorrow. Ser Briannaix will surely be gratified to hear of the rescue.
95TEXT_GAIUSC014_00951_SEQ_05The rough-hewn knight is indeed appreciative, and shows himself to be blunt in speech. The gap between those who actually fight the war and those in command seems to be growing, with the pride of the latter trumping the needs of the former...

5248TEXT_GAIUSC014_00951_BRIANNAIX_000_000You're that <Split(<Highlight>ObjectParameter(1)</Highlight>, ,1)/>, aren't you? Well met, well met! Give us a hand─one of the dragoons has fallen clean over the cliff!
5349TEXT_GAIUSC014_00951_BRIANNAIX_000_001He lives, praise the Fury. We could tell that much from the top.
5450TEXT_GAIUSC014_00951_BRIANNAIX_000_002A brother knight stayed behind on the cliff, and awaits a coil of rope. See here, can you go to the keep for the rope, and deliver it thither? I'm for the infirmary!

5652TEXT_GAIUSC014_00951_DUMMYTODO_000_010
5753TEXT_GAIUSC014_00951_NPCA_000_020What do <Emphasis>you</Emphasis> want? You bring rope for the rescue? Excuse my churlishness, I have been stymied at every turn in helping my brother knight─it has made me forget my courtesy.
5854TEXT_GAIUSC014_00951_NPCA_000_021But with both our coils tied end-on-end, it may just be long enough! Throw the end of it down to him!
5955TEXT_GAIUSC014_00951_NPCA_000_022The Fury help us! It will not fall─the wind blows it out of his reach, yet again. What are we to do, jump down with it?
6056TEXT_GAIUSC014_00951_NPCA_000_023Halone preserve us! The rope is long enough, but this cursed cliff is ever buffeted by the winds. What are we to do, jump down with it?
6157TEXT_GAIUSC014_00951_NPCB_000_025You too, huh? What do you mean you came to rescue me? You're on the wrong floor, friend! What do you plan to do, throw me up the cliff!?
6258TEXT_GAIUSC014_00951_NPCB_000_030So...you jumped down a cliff. On purpose. I can certainly respect that. You are a <If(PlayerParameter(4))>woman<Else/>man</If> with a plan. You do have a plan, don't you?
6359TEXT_GAIUSC014_00951_NPCB_000_040Rope? High winds, huh? But this rope will hang straight with the weight of a man upon it? So we shall both climb back and over the precipice...
6460TEXT_GAIUSC014_00951_NPCB_000_041A simple enough plan, and well tested. Ahem. I fear it'll take me a while to complete the climb. I hope you don't mind the wait.
6561TEXT_GAIUSC014_00951_BRIANNAIX_000_050Unhurt, was he? The infirmary'll be relieved to hear of it. Always short on something, they are.
6662TEXT_GAIUSC014_00951_BRIANNAIX_000_051Ishgard scolds us for using 'venturers for too many things, but I say sod 'em. They won't send reinforcements and threatened to denounce any knight who asked for them. The way I see it, a good 'venturer is worth more than their words.
