10TEXT_STMBDZ905_02861_SEQ_00Sagar is concerned for a friend.
21TEXT_STMBDZ905_02861_SEQ_01Sagar tells you of Berehta, a kind and caring woman of Coldhearth who seems oddly troubled of late. She refuses to speak with anyone, but she has always been fond of travelers. He asks you to speak with her in the hopes of getting her to open up.
32TEXT_STMBDZ905_02861_SEQ_02Berehta has been thinking about her son, Erart, a young man of twenty summers who fled the village to avoid conscription by the Garleans. With the threat of the imperials gone, however, she is hoping he will someday return. Daunted by the dangers of the world outside Coldhearth, she asks you to inquire after him in her stead. She suggests stopping in Radiata, where he likely passed through on his escape to freedom.
43TEXT_STMBDZ905_02861_SEQ_03You speak with the people of Radiata, and while most cannot recall meeting a man named Erart, the trail is not yet cold. One villager is fairly certain a man by the name Godafre will know who you are looking for.
54TEXT_STMBDZ905_02861_SEQ_04Godafre indeed knows Erart. In fact, he helped hide him from the soldiers who came to Radiata in pursuit of him. Godafre goes on to say he and an acquaintance smuggled him north past Specula Imperatoris, but he knows not what happened next. With no other information to be had, you return to Coldhearth to let Berehta know her son seems to have fled to safety.
65TEXT_STMBDZ905_02861_SEQ_05Relief is clear on Berehta's face when you relay to her what you learned of Erart. Though she is gladdened to hear he is safe, she cannot deny that she misses him.

4948TEXT_STMBDZ905_02861_SAGAR_100_000Excuse me, miss. Mind lendin' me a hand with somethin'?
5049TEXT_STMBDZ905_02861_SAGAR_110_000A friend of mine, Berehta's her name, she seems troubled these days. She's a sweet woman, and I'd like to help her, but she won't talk to anyone. She's always been fond of travelers passin' through, so I figure she might open up a bit to you.
5150TEXT_STMBDZ905_02861_SAGAR_120_000I wonder what's troublin' her. I hope it's nothin' serious.
5251TEXT_STMBDZ905_02861_BEREHTA_000_000You're that adventurin' lass Raubahn came here with, aren't you? Well I'll be! What can I do for you?
5352TEXT_STMBDZ905_02861_BEREHTA_000_001Sagar's worried about me, is he? That's kind of him, but my troubles are nothin' he can help with. Might be a strappin' young lass like yourself could, though.
5453TEXT_STMBDZ905_02861_BEREHTA_000_002I've been meanin' to find my son. A fine young lad, goin' on twenty now.
5554TEXT_STMBDZ905_02861_BEREHTA_000_003The Garleans what came through here conscripted all our young men, but by the grace of Rhalgr he gave them the slip. Trouble is, though, my boy never came home...
5655TEXT_STMBDZ905_02861_BEREHTA_000_004The Garleans have long since fled these parts, so I'm hopin' he'll come back.
5756TEXT_STMBDZ905_02861_BEREHTA_000_005I'd go and search for him myself, but I've never left Coldhearth before. I'm not like to get too far on my own. Might you be willing to take a look around for me?
5857TEXT_STMBDZ905_02861_BEREHTA_000_006Bless you, child. I can't imagine where he ran off to, but there's a good chance he passed through Radiata to the north.
5958TEXT_STMBDZ905_02861_BEREHTA_000_007This is only what I've heard from the merchants who come through, mind you, but there's Garlean outposts all over. If he was lookin' for a place to lay low before movin' on, it'd have to be there.
6059TEXT_STMBDZ905_02861_BEREHTA_000_008His name's Erart, by the way. He's got blond hair, and an old scar across one cheek. You'll know him when you see him.
6160TEXT_STMBDZ905_02861_BEREHTA_000_009I doubt he's been stayin' in Radiata all this time, but I'm sure someone there's at least seen him.
6261TEXT_STMBDZ905_02861_SAGAR_100_009She's asked you to find Erart? Gods, I hope you find the boy. I haven't seen him in years.
6362TEXT_STMBDZ905_02861_MAWT_000_010Erart? Sorry, miss, can't say I know anyone by that name.
6463TEXT_STMBDZ905_02861_HRUODIGER_000_020Erart... Erart... Where have I heard that name before? Yes, of course! Wait, no...no I can't say I know an Erart.
6564TEXT_STMBDZ905_02861_GARRULOUSGALL_000_030Erart? Hmmm. I'm certain Godafre has mentioned him before. You might have better luck speaking with him.
6665TEXT_STMBDZ905_02861_MAWT_000_040Sorry, friend, but I don't know anyone by the name of Erart.
6766TEXT_STMBDZ905_02861_HRUODIGER_000_041I'm sure it'll come to me. Erart, was it? If I can remember anything, you'll be the first to know.
6867TEXT_STMBDZ905_02861_GARRULOUSGALL_000_042I can't say I know anyone by that name, but I'm sure Godafre knows who you're looking for.
6968TEXT_STMBDZ905_02861_GODAFRE_000_050Erart? Sure, I know him. Been a long time since he's been around here, though.
7069TEXT_STMBDZ905_02861_GODAFRE_000_051He showed up about two years ago, escaping from the Garleans. I couldn't stand the thought of them dragging him away like they did my son, so I helped keep him out of sight. Thinking back on it now, that was quite the gamble.
7170TEXT_STMBDZ905_02861_GODAFRE_000_052Of course, it would've only been a matter of time before they caught on. I had a friend of mine, Stark Woad, help him make his escape.
7271TEXT_STMBDZ905_02861_GODAFRE_000_053She snuck him out with a shipment of provisions. If memory serves, she made a stop at Specula Imperatoris, but I don't know where they went after that.
7372TEXT_STMBDZ905_02861_GODAFRE_000_054Not sure if that helps you any, but I'm afraid that's all I know. Best of luck to you.
7473TEXT_STMBDZ905_02861_GODAFRE_000_055If anyone could see him safely past Specula Imperatoris, it's Stark Woad. I'm sure he's safe.
7574TEXT_STMBDZ905_02861_BEREHTA_000_010Back already. Did you find out anything about my boy? Is he safe?
7675TEXT_STMBDZ905_02861_BEREHTA_000_011Passed through the Garlean outpost to the north? So he escaped, then...
7776TEXT_STMBDZ905_02861_BEREHTA_000_012It does my heart good to know he's out of harm's way. <sigh> I sure do miss him...
