| TEXT_AKTKMK102_04736_SEQ_00 | Urianger wishes to depart at once.
| TEXT_AKTKMK102_04736_SEQ_01 | With your course of action decided, Urianger proposes an immediate departure, but Varshahn begs a moment to assume his adult form before setting out. After making your own preparations, you meet your comrades at the High Crucible.
| TEXT_AKTKMK102_04736_SEQ_02 | To facilitate the opening of the gate, you must acquire sufficient stores of aether, as well as obtain permission to use the Tower of Babil to channel it unto the moon. As Varshahn believes the Ilsabard contingent will oblige your request, he proposes that you attend to the aether problem first. Thus do you make your way to the airship landing and the journey ahead.
| TEXT_AKTKMK102_04736_SEQ_03 | The northern Isle of Haam off the coast of Old Sharlayan is purported to hold substantial aether deposits, which should more than suffice for your needs. Alas, access to the isle is restricted, and you must first petition the Forum to grant you leave to travel there. This is, of course, not the first time you have needed to navigate Sharlayan bureaucracy, and so you soon find yourself crossing the familiar threshold of the Baldesion Annex in search of your old friend Krile.
| TEXT_AKTKMK102_04736_SEQ_04 | You find Krile deep in conversation with Erenville, who reveals he will be away for an extended period attending to a private matter. After hearing the details of your plan, Krile pledges the support of the Students of Baldesion, and Erenville offers the name of a researcher who likely knows how aether was intended to be stored and transferred to the <Emphasis>Ragnarok</Emphasis>. So buoyed by the support of your friends, you bid them farewell and head to Sharlayan Hamlet in search of the researcher named Margrat.
| TEXT_AKTKMK102_04736_SEQ_05 | Margrat's exuberant joy at being free of the burden of unconscionable deadlines is as disturbing as it is relatable. She explains that shipping your aether will be no different than shipping wine, provided you avail yourselves of the aether tanks once destined for the <Emphasis>Ragnarok</Emphasis>. Failing to recall what became of them after the Final Days were averted, Margrat instead directs you to a colleague who should know where to find them─a man who should be wearing a conspicuous outfit boasting of his recent vacation. In this sea of subdued fashions, such a radically dressed researcher should be easy enough to spot...
| TEXT_AKTKMK102_04736_SEQ_06 | Kokkol Dankkol's shirt is indeed a clarion call proclaiming to all and sundry that he has forsaken work for an altogether-too-brief time. After a quick chat, he agrees to lend you the aether tanks without hesitation, though he laments that he can do nothing to grease the wheels of the Forum, which ever turn slowly. As is his wont, however, he elects to describe said tendencies in a rather more inelegant fashion, only to be corrected by a stone-faced Fourchenault, who arrives in the company of Krile and Scholarch Montichaigne. The Forum has passed a favorable verdict, states Fourchenault, on the sole condition that you slay whatever fearsome beasts you encounter during your expedition to the Isle of Haam. Your transportation to the island has also been arranged; the vessel awaits you in Scholar's Harbor.
| TEXT_AKTKMK102_04736_SEQ_07 | The captain is ready to depart, but Urianger bids you wait a short while. It seems an additional member of the party is late, but before you can inquire as to their identity, Thancred announces himself. Bolstered by your charismatic companion, you are ready to challenge the Aetherfont. ※To enlist your companion NPCs for this duty, speak with them near the entrance or access Duty Support via the main menu. Use the Duty Finder if you wish to complete the instance alongside fellow players.
| TEXT_AKTKMK102_04736_SEQ_08 | Though you are forced to contend with countless beasts flush with the isle's abundant aether, they pose little challenge to you and your comrades. Nevertheless, the memory of the terrors which slumbered in the depths may linger for a time... In any event, you are free to rest and gaze into the mesmerizing undulations of the geyser while you wait for Kokkol Dankkol's airship to arrive.
| TEXT_AKTKMK102_04736_SEQ_09 | Thanks to Kokkol and his engineers, you succeed in harvesting a sufficient supply of aether. After observing Thancred counsel Zero on the concept of trust, you leave the tanks in Kokkol's charge and travel to Old Sharlayan.
| TEXT_AKTKMK102_04736_SEQ_10 | Thancred's brief time with you is at an end, sadly, as the bard must take his leave and return to his other responsibilities. With your first objective complete, you turn to Urianger, who will guide you in the next step of your plan to open a new voidgate.

| TEXT_AKTKMK102_04736_MYSTERIOUSPERSON_000_005 | You have no shortage of allies at your disposal.
| TEXT_AKTKMK102_04736_EGHADUTAEMPLOYEE_000_008 | Shall I escort you to Master Estinien's chambers?
| TEXT_AKTKMK102_04736_Q1_000_009 | Proceed to Estinien's chambers?
| TEXT_AKTKMK102_04736_URIANGER_000_010 | If one and all are ready, then let us set forth, our preparations to complete.
| TEXT_AKTKMK102_04736_VARSHAHN_000_011 | If I may, I beg a moment to exchange this vessel for its grown counterpart. It is in the keeping of alchemists of the High Crucible.
| TEXT_AKTKMK102_04736_URIANGER_000_012 | Of course. We shall accompany thee thither, and thence begin our journey.
| TEXT_AKTKMK102_04736_MYSTERIOUSPERSON_000_020 | Opening a gate is about as difficult as I expected.
| TEXT_AKTKMK102_04736_VARSHAHNBIG_000_030 | My apologies for the delay.
| TEXT_AKTKMK102_04736_URIANGER_000_031 | My, that is a striking simulacrum indeed. Well suited to the work ahead, I doubt not.
| TEXT_AKTKMK102_04736_URIANGER_000_032 | Allow me to explain Y'shtola's plan in greater detail.
| TEXT_AKTKMK102_04736_URIANGER_000_033 | As you know, we seek to open a voidgate in Mare Lamentorum, that we might gain direct passage to the moon of the Thirteenth.
| TEXT_AKTKMK102_04736_URIANGER_000_034 | Whilst our comrades labor upon the moon, we must needs accomplish two tasks.
| TEXT_AKTKMK102_04736_URIANGER_000_035 | The first is the procurement of a substantial quantity of aether, and subsequent delivery of it unto the Tower of Babil.
| TEXT_AKTKMK102_04736_URIANGER_000_036 | Said structure was once used to siphon the land's essence by way of the Telophoroi's spires.
| TEXT_AKTKMK102_04736_URIANGER_100_036 | Such a method, however, doth pose an unacceptable risk to the greater aetherial balance of our world. Thus must we seek an alternate means of conveying our requisite resource.
| TEXT_AKTKMK102_04736_URIANGER_000_037 | Our second task doth pertain to the use of the Tower of Babil itself.
| TEXT_AKTKMK102_04736_URIANGER_100_037 | You may recall that this portal unto the moon was placed under the supervision of the Ilsabard contingent.
| TEXT_AKTKMK102_04736_URIANGER_000_038 | If we would employ it to different ends, we must first obtain the contingent's express permission.
| TEXT_AKTKMK102_04736_VARSHAHNBIG_000_039 | I should like to believe they would not refuse us, so perhaps we should concern ourselves with the aether problem first. Have you any idea whence we might source the vast quantity needed?
| TEXT_AKTKMK102_04736_URIANGER_000_040 | Aye, a likely location doth come to mind. Let us make for the airship landing─there, I shall reveal more.
| TEXT_AKTKMK102_04736_VARSHAHNBIG_000_050 | I am most keen to know more of Urianger's potential solution. In the worst case, I was prepared to offer one of my eyes, but it seems it will not come to that.
| TEXT_AKTKMK102_04736_VARSHAHNBIG_000_051 |
| TEXT_AKTKMK102_04736_MYSTERIOUSPERSON_000_055 | I sometimes come here for the view. It's...beautiful.
| TEXT_AKTKMK102_04736_URIANGER_000_060 | All are present and accounted for? Excellent. We shall travel to Sharlayan, and thence seek the nearby Isle of Haam.
| TEXT_AKTKMK102_04736_URIANGER_000_062 | Near unto the surface of this isle do rivers of aether converge. The churning energy of this confluence is released by the way of geysers.
| TEXT_AKTKMK102_04736_URIANGER_000_063 | Originally, the <Emphasis>Ragnarok</Emphasis> was to be powered by aether harvested from the isle...
| TEXT_AKTKMK102_04736_URIANGER_000_064 | But as well you know, an alternate power source was ultimately found for the vessel.
| TEXT_AKTKMK102_04736_URIANGER_100_064 | Passage unto Ultima Thule─to the very limits of existence─was facilitated by naught less than the strength of the Mothercrystal Herself.
| TEXT_AKTKMK102_04736_URIANGER_000_065 | As such, the Isle of Haam's vast aether deposits remain untouched. We may help ourselves to that energy─provided we are able to secure the Forum's permission.
| TEXT_AKTKMK102_04736_MYSTERIOUSPERSON_100_065 | Yet again with needing permission. Is nothing straightforward in this world?
| TEXT_AKTKMK102_04736_URIANGER_000_066 | Such is the nature of politics, I fear. And as the Scions of the Seventh Dawn have been “officially” disbanded, no longer are we a recognized collective. A somewhat disadvantaged position, bureaucratically speaking.
| TEXT_AKTKMK102_04736_URIANGER_000_067 | Fortunately, however, there is a recognized and respected body upon which we might prevail: the Students of Baldesion. Upon arriving in Sharlayan, let us seek our friends at the annex.
| TEXT_AKTKMK102_04736_URIANGER_000_070 | While Mistress Krile hath burdens enough of her own, we may be confident she will do her utmost to assist us.
| TEXT_AKTKMK102_04736_VARSHAHNBIG_000_0075 | When last I came here, it was to deliver my sire's scales. How long ago it seems now...
| TEXT_AKTKMK102_04736_MYSTERIOUSPERSON_000_080 | An island literally bursting with aether... That's the sort of paradise voidsent dream of.
| TEXT_AKTKMK102_04736_OJIKATSUNJIKA_000_090 | Welcome back, <Split(<Highlight>ObjectParameter(1)</Highlight>, ,1)/>! What brings you here today? And in such colorful company...
| TEXT_AKTKMK102_04736_URIANGER_000_091 | Greetings, Ojika. On this occasion, we are come to seek the Students' assistance in a matter of some urgency.
| TEXT_AKTKMK102_04736_OJIKATSUNJIKA_000_092 | In that case, you'll want to speak with Krile. She's in the main hall, sorting through our archives.
| TEXT_AKTKMK102_04736_OJIKATSUNJIKA_000_093 | There's a visitor with her at the moment, but it's no one you don't know, so feel free to show yourself in!
| TEXT_AKTKMK102_04736_Q2_000_094 | Proceed to the main hall?
| TEXT_AKTKMK102_04736_URIANGER_000_100 | I believe we have found our researcher.
| TEXT_AKTKMK102_04736_VARSHAHNBIG_000_105 | Though it is not the first time I have seen it, I remain in awe of this sky's magnificence. Never did it occur to me that such an expansive facsimile was within men's power to create.
| TEXT_AKTKMK102_04736_MYSTERIOUSPERSON_000_110 | The first person Urianger asked about our target immediately told us where to go. Is there a place where you do not have allies?
| TEXT_AKTKMK102_04736_MYSTERIOUSPERSON_000_115 | Worry not, I shall pen our petition at once and submit it to the Forum!
| TEXT_AKTKMK102_04736_MARGRAT_000_121 | Visitors? How delightful! If you require assistance, then ask away! It so happens you've caught me in postdeadline bliss.
| TEXT_AKTKMK102_04736_URIANGER_000_122 | Forgive us the abruptness of our inquiry, but 'tis our understanding that thou had charge of the <Emphasis>Ragnarok</Emphasis>'s propulsion systems.
| TEXT_AKTKMK102_04736_URIANGER_100_122 | We should like to know how aether harvested at the Isle of Haam was to be stored and transported to the ark. If the disclosure of such information is permitted.
| TEXT_AKTKMK102_04736_MARGRAT_000_123 | Oh, it's no bother at all. We built special tanks that can store aether just like we use casks to store wine. Simple, really!
| TEXT_AKTKMK102_04736_MARGRAT_000_124 | Simple, but quite brilliant in construction. They rivaled even crystals for aetherial capacity. A pity we never got to use them.
| TEXT_AKTKMK102_04736_MARGRAT_000_125 | Aaah, how muddled and distant the memory. When doom's deadline loomed large, and we extricated ourselves from a waist-high mire of work only to end up chin-deep in another...
| TEXT_AKTKMK102_04736_MARGRAT_100_125 | I was at one with the world, a conduit for the energies of creation, but now─<Emphasis>now</Emphasis> I am truly alive! Who would have thought that sleeping in a bed and eating warm meals could make such a difference!
| TEXT_AKTKMK102_04736_MARGRAT_000_126 | Why, I feel positively <Emphasis>functional</Emphasis>! I daresay it rivals the thrill of dancing on the knife-edge of failure! Ahahahahaha!
| TEXT_AKTKMK102_04736_VARSHAHNBIG_100_126 | ...We are glad for you. Quite. On the subject of the aether tanks, do you know what became of them?
| TEXT_AKTKMK102_04736_MARGRAT_000_127 | Er... What <Emphasis>did</Emphasis> become of them? For the life of me, I can't seem to remember...
| TEXT_AKTKMK102_04736_MARGRAT_000_128 | Oh, but I <Emphasis>do</Emphasis> remember someone who <Emphasis>might</Emphasis> remember! He should be back by now. Just look for the fellow wearing an outfit that screams, “I've been on vacation and you haven't!”
| TEXT_AKTKMK102_04736_URIANGER_000_129 | Very well, we shall seek out this conspicuous colleague of thine. Our sincerest gratitude, Margrat, and do look after thyself.
| TEXT_AKTKMK102_04736_URIANGER_000_130 | Come, let us seek out this individual attired in a manner suggestive of recent furlough.
| TEXT_AKTKMK102_04736_MARGRAT_000_140 | Aaah, life outside of work─what a concept! Ahahahahaha!
| TEXT_AKTKMK102_04736_URIANGER_000_145 | ...All is well, and I pray 'tis the same with thee and thine. Now, dost thou perchance know of one recently returned from a vacation?
| TEXT_AKTKMK102_04736_VARSHAHNBIG_000_150 | If we can avail ourselves of these tanks, we shall be well on our way to securing the aether we require.
| TEXT_AKTKMK102_04736_MYSTERIOUSPERSON_000_155 | I do not know what a “vacation” is...but that man strikes me as more relaxed than most.
| TEXT_AKTKMK102_04736_KOKKOLDANKKOL_000_160 | The face that launched our teeny-tiny toy boat! How've you been, <Split(<Highlight>ObjectParameter(1)</Highlight>, ,1)/>? Able to catch a bit of rest?
| TEXT_AKTKMK102_04736_KOKKOLDANKKOL_000_161 | Well, if <Emphasis>I</Emphasis> don't know about the aether tanks, who in Byregot's name would? Born right in me very own workshop, they were.
| TEXT_AKTKMK102_04736_URIANGER_000_162 | A pleasure as always, Master Kokkol. I trust thy respite proved rejuvenating?
| TEXT_AKTKMK102_04736_KOKKOLDANKKOL_100_162 | And then some! But I won't bore you with the details─at least not without a drink in me. So! Why the interest in our little ol' tanks?
| TEXT_AKTKMK102_04736_URIANGER_110_162 | Permit me to explain...
| TEXT_AKTKMK102_04736_KOKKOLDANKKOL_000_163 | I see, I see... Think I've got the long and short of it.
| TEXT_AKTKMK102_04736_KOKKOLDANKKOL_000_164 | It goes without sayin', but we all owe you more than we can ever repay. If you need our aether tanks, then they're at your disposal.
| TEXT_AKTKMK102_04736_KOKKOLDANKKOL_000_165 | There's just one problem: you need the Forum's approval to set foot on the Isle of Haam. Were it up to me, you'd be on the next ship out, but that lot can't wipe their arses unless it's in accordance with procedural motions.
| TEXT_AKTKMK102_04736_FOURCHENAULT_000_166 | You may be assured that my backside is immaculate.
| TEXT_AKTKMK102_04736_KOKKOLDANKKOL_000_167 | Thaliak's thumpin' thighs─er, Master Fourchenault! A-And Scholarch Montichaigne! What a...what a surprise!
| TEXT_AKTKMK102_04736_FOURCHENAULT_000_168 | Pardon the intrusion. The Forum has deliberated your petition, and we decided to deliver our verdict directly.
| TEXT_AKTKMK102_04736_FOURCHENAULT_100_168 | I would hope that the matter of Pandæmonium has not been overshadowed by other concerns...but that is a discussion for another time.
| TEXT_AKTKMK102_04736_FOURCHENAULT_000_169 | You have been granted special dispensation to travel to the Isle of Haam for the purposes of aetheric extraction─on one condition.
| TEXT_AKTKMK102_04736_FOURCHENAULT_100_169 | On account of its rich deposits of aether, the isle is home to throngs of vicious beasts. We ask that you cull any such creatures you encounter.
| TEXT_AKTKMK102_04736_MYSTERIOUSPERSON_000_170 | ...That's all? Given the vast amount of aether we seek, I expected a far higher price.
| TEXT_AKTKMK102_04736_MONTICHAIGNE_000_171 | Oh, believe me─we do not underestimate the value of what you desire.
| TEXT_AKTKMK102_04736_MONTICHAIGNE_000_172 | Nay, we simply owe the Students of Baldesion and their esteemed collaborators a debt of gratitude, and we felt that expediting your request was a suitable way to repay it.
| TEXT_AKTKMK102_04736_MYSTERIOUSPERSON_000_173 | A debt of gratitude...
| TEXT_AKTKMK102_04736_FOURCHENAULT_000_174 | We have taken the liberty of arranging your passage to the Isle of Haam. Your vessel awaits in Scholar's Harbor.
| TEXT_AKTKMK102_04736_KOKKOLDANKKOL_000_175 | Th-Then I'd better get those aether tanks loaded onto the airship! We'll be ready to take 'em where you need─assumin' it's safe!
| TEXT_AKTKMK102_04736_KRILE_000_176 | I shall head back to the annex, but should you need anything else, don't hesitate to call!
| TEXT_AKTKMK102_04736_URIANGER_000_180 | That Master Fourchenault and Scholarch Montichaigne should personally deliver these glad tidings... We must endeavor to repay their faith in us.
| TEXT_AKTKMK102_04736_VARSHAHNBIG_000_185 | All proceeds apace thus far, and it is thanks to the enduring bonds you have forged.
| TEXT_AKTKMK102_04736_MYSTERIOUSPERSON_000_190 | It seems this Forum is like Alisaie─they help others simply because they want to.
| TEXT_AKTKMK102_04736_Q2_000_000 | What will you do?
| TEXT_AKTKMK102_04736_A2_000_001 | Small talk.
| TEXT_AKTKMK102_04736_A2_000_002 | Form a party and enter the Aetherfont.
| TEXT_AKTKMK102_04736_A2_000_003 | Nothing.
| TEXT_AKTKMK102_04736_URIANGER_000_200 | Naught remaineth to bar us from the Isle of Haam. Let us set sail forthwith.
| TEXT_AKTKMK102_04736_VARSHAHNBIG_000_205 | No matter what, we must return to the void. The acquisition of this aether is but the first step.
| TEXT_AKTKMK102_04736_MYSTERIOUSPERSON_000_210 | He does not strike me as the mentoring sort...
| TEXT_AKTKMK102_04736_THANCRED_000_215 | Social struggles aside, Zero seems more than capable of handling herself. Still, I shall aid her in what capacity I can.
| TEXT_AKTKMK102_04736_HAAMBORTMAN_000_220 | So you know, the isle's hemmed in by drift ice all year round. I'll bring you as close to the shore as possible, but you'll have to walk the rest of the way.
| TEXT_AKTKMK102_04736_VARSHAHNBIG_000_230 | We are truly indebted to Kokkol. I must invite him to Radz-at-Han as a guest of honor.
| TEXT_AKTKMK102_04736_MYSTERIOUSPERSON_000_235 | By simply staying close to you, will I really learn about trust?
| TEXT_AKTKMK102_04736_THANCRED_000_240 | Zero's straight as an arrow, isn't she? A refreshing contrast to our more circuitous company.
| TEXT_AKTKMK102_04736_URIANGER_000_250 | To not only allow us use of the tanks, but to arrange their transportation to Garlemald besides... Blessed are we to count Kokkol among our allies.
| TEXT_AKTKMK102_04736_URIANGER_000_251 | Unto thee we must also give thanks, Thancred, for coming to our aid on such short notice.
| TEXT_AKTKMK102_04736_THANCRED_000_252 | Please, you know I'm always happy to help. Don't hesitate to call on me again.
| TEXT_AKTKMK102_04736_THANCRED_000_253 | Till next time.
| 154 | 150 | TEXT_AKTKMK102_04736_SYSTEM_000_254 | You may now enter the Aetherfont with a party of NPC avatars.
